RME achieve OHSAS 18001:2007 for Health and Safety

RME Services has a comprehensive integrated management system that has been registered by BSI, a UKAS accredited service provider. Registration has covered ISO 9001 for quality management since 2007 and ISO 14001 for environmental management since 2010.

As a natural progression in its policy of continual improvement under the ISO standards and to provide added assurance to its clients in respect of the manner in which work is handled, the company achieved registration of its management system in August 2015 to OHSAS 18001:2007 for health and safety.

Maintaining registration of the management system is an ongoing process that involves BSI auditors visiting the company’s premises and sites for three days twice per year for continuing assessment purposes to confirm that the standards and practices initially set remain effective. Particular emphasis is placed on the manner in which project work is executed, leadership, competence and training of staff members, adherence to legislation and control of documents and records.
