World’s Biggest Coffee Morning comes to RME!

As part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, we hosted a coffee morning in our very own diner where attendees swapped their cash for tasty cakes and coffee all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. They ask people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan. Last year alone they raised £25 million, so we thought we should join in and do our bit!

RME had pledged to treble every penny donated during our coffee morning, which gave everyone the incentive to spend as much as possible – and therefore eat more cake!

So we are very pleased to announce that we raised a total of £420.60!

Well done to everyone for your cake-eating skills – and of course your generosity!
